This design competition is show geared towards streetwear fashion, and in my opinion has introduced the world to the impact of streetwear and it’s influence on today’s society.
THE HYPE
It is hosted by Speedy Morman, and some of the most influential people in streetwear are the shows’ co-signers. Starting with famous rapper, Off-set, celebrity fashion stylist, Marni Senofonte, and streetwear designer, Beth “Bephie” Burkett. This show not only educates the competitors on the world of streetwear, but every challenge is an opportunity to win a co-sign from a special guest that they bring in. Meaning even if you don’t win, there is still opportunities being given that can further your career! As a Designer who’s niche is streetwear, it always gets me excited to watch this show and learn something new! The second season was just released and I finished it in a week. Can’t wait for the third season!
